Ratie D is a Zimbabwean singer and songwriter who aspires to spread love and light through her music. Her music career kick started with singing in an all female acapella group Nobuntu and working with bands like  Bongolove , Desolution , Eleven Eyes, Sage Crow, Not Applikable and Thomas Mapfumo and the Blacks unlimited. These collaborations have encouraged and strengthened  Ratie D’s love for different kinds of music and this can be seen in her debut album- Ink and Melodies- where she shares her versatility ,giving audiences music with blues style, hip-hop and staying rooted to her culture by celebrating her native languages.
